Meet Dan Cockerell

Dan Cockerell has held various management and executive operations roles at the Walt Disney World Resort, both in them parks and resort hotels. In a story that seems written by Walt Disney himself, Dan rose, literally, from the parking lot to the castle. Dan began working as a front desk host while participating in the Disney College Program, then parking cars following his graduation from Boston University. Transferred to Disneyland Paris in 1992, Dan got his first management role. Throughout a 26career with Disney, Dan rose through the ranks to eventually become only the 6th person to hold the title of Vice President of the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World.

Dan’s experience leading a team of 12,000 cast members, who entertain millions of guests every year, solidified his belief that building relationships are critical for leadership success. He now brings his wealth of Disney knowledge and experience to organizations around the world to help them create a world-class customer experience and operational excellence.
